As strangers they got to know each other. With a stranger he fell in love. And now, strangers again.
He never see it coming. He never anticipated it. He loves her still. He adores her still. But each day he feels the distance grow. Each day the void widens. Each day he felt more disconnected. No more the long conversations they had. No more the happy times and laughter. Rereading the past conversations, a drastic change took place. The more they converse, the more boring the conversation becomes. Did he tried too hard? Did he not try at all? Delicate is the balance. It's either push or let go.
The fear of losing her made him try too hard, drove him paranoid. It drove her away. They don't meet no more, don't text, rarely talks, hardly comments. Conversations over MSN grew shorter. That human touch is gone. He feels he's at fault. He caused her to walk away. He tries hard not to be fearful, but it's never easy when he fears the past from repeating. Many times he was left behind, how can he not fear losing her too? That fear is his flaw. That fear isn't helping him.
He prays silently each day, each night, each moment he sees her name, that someday they won't be strangers again. A hope he holds so dearly now, just like how she told him to hope that things would get better in his life. Hope is all he have left. Not a dime to his name, just hope.
Hope things between them will change,
hope his life will get better,
hope he could be they very man she wants,
hope to be the man she loves,
hope to be the man to complete her,
hope to be the man to hold her hands once again,
hope to be the man to someday hold her close that if her heart stops, he dies.
hope that they aren't strangers.. again..
